Our Vision

Our vision is to transform health services so that they restore the health and wellbeing ​of survivors of sexual violence in adulthood ​ through new interventions, services and supports​ that are trauma-and-violence informed and ​responsive to individual needs.​

The RESTORE CRE builds on two existing Centres – Safer Families Centre which focuses on transforming health system responses to family violence, and the ALIVE National Centre focused on mental health research translation and lived experience co-design.

Our work is survivor-centered, and trauma-and-violence informed.
